I dont know why, but I'm doing this.

Like I just said, I dont know why I am doing this. Frankly I always made fun of "bloggers," and I would make a big deal saying "why would you want the whole world to pretty much be able to read your diary?" My lovely roommate Kenzi started a blog though, and while reading that I decided that this would be a good way to crack down on my Facebook addiction. Maybe this way I will spend more time constructively letting my friends and family know whats going on in my life (which I still kind think is creepy. Think about it! Anyone could get on and read this stuff!) and less time on facebook.... letting my friends and family know whats going on in my life. Really there is no difference so why not blog about it right? I dont have some profound reason for starting this blog. There is no theme, hidden agenda, and I'm not married, so that eliminates the chances that this will be one of those gushy, let everyone know how perfect the married life is blogs. I simply need something to do with my time while I am not at school, work, or doing homework.

Anyway, I am Leisha. I am currently living in Logan. I say currently because I am moving in a month. I transferred to Utah State from Snow College, and I love both places. Unfortunately a linguistics major is not offered at USU, so I have to transfer down to the University of Utah. I have the greatest parents in the world. I love them both! My dad is awesome! Even if he thinks I hate him I look up to him so much. He shared with me his love of the outdoors, four wheeling, camping, and rock hounding and without that I would definitely not be the person I am today. The only word I have to describe my mom is amazing. She makes the prettiest costumes you will ever see and sells them on the Internet, she manages a gas station, she put up with me while I was on drill team and in my crazy teenage years, and she raised my three crazy older brothers without all of her hair falling out. Speaking of my three crazy older brothers, they are all in the military. Derk is a helicopter mechanic, Josh is a green beret and Ryan is a SAPPER. (he blows stuff up) They have all been deployed to various places, and I love and respect all of them for the sacrifices they make to keep our country free. All three are married to beautiful ladies, who amaze me just for wanting to put up with my brothers for the rest of their lives and beyond. I have one nephew and four nieces, they are little hand fulls. Well that's me in a nutshell.
